Savasi Island itself is something of a natural wonder with its entire 52 acres full of delightful features at every turn. The island is only a hundred meters-or-so off Vanua Levu’s Hibiscus Highway, 15 minutes from Savusavu town and accessed across a bridge linking it to the ‘mainland’ - you feel the relaxing calmness of this place as soon as you cross the bridge. The island is a raised coral island with a sheltered inlet, which is an ideal location for the dive base and a marina. The resort buildings are clustered around a raised point facing the Koro Sea and all blend almost seamlessly with the island amongst the coconut palms, ancient trees and flowering shrubs. The resort comprises seven accommodation villas, 5 Penthouses and Staterooms on their new, permanently moored schooner “Serenity”, a restaurant, lounge and separate cliff-side spa. The sandy coves and bays of the island are accessed down wooden stairs from various points off the raised part of the island where the resort buildings have been placed to maximize viewing of the lagoon and ocean from over the leafy tropical landscape. "Serenity" is moored in the resort's marina, an easy two-minute walk away.

Savasi is a high-quality resort built In tune with nature, so expect plenty of space, high-beamed ceilings, tons of louvered windows, big flowing decks, amazing bathrooms and décor which combines a natural Fijian style with contemporary flair. Most villas have a private pool in the deck and most are either fully or partially air-conditioned depending on whether particular rooms in any villa are exposed to sea breezes. The recent addition of the permanently-moored three-mast schooner "Savasi Serenity" has added something new and special to Savasi's accommodation offerings.
