GROUP LEADERS

All of our group leaders are experienced in their sporting disciplines with a long history, and are well known to their peers.  Our dive leaders have an extensive background in dive training and have been involved in the diving industry for many years.  Our group leaders have conducted numerous photo expeditions to renowned locations, and most are published photographers.  They will offer you the opportunity to visit exotic dive destinations while benefiting from their photographic experience.

Our adventure expeditions will be led by extremely well trained and experienced individuals in the adventure sport industry.  With many years of multi-discipline adventure sport training, they are all certified in the different disciplines that will be encountered on our adventures.  We will be exploring pristine rainforests and world famous treks…and perhaps some not so well known.

John is a retired U.S. Army Lt Col and disabled veteran, Master Scuba Instructor and Instructor Trainer. He also is a Instructor for Disabled Divers International (DDI). He started Texas Dive Center to provide the best scuba services, training and adventures in the region. He first started diving in Maine with a YMCA certification in 1973 to do search and recovery and ice diving. He is also a Scuba Pro Expert Equipment Technician as well as being manufacturer trained for TUSA, MARES, OCEANIC, Cressi and Ocean Technology Systems (OTS) full face masks service and repairs. John is a DOT cylinder re-tester for hydro-static testing of cylinders. He was inducted into the Platinum Pro 5000 Diver Foundation in 2018. John is an avid traveler and does multiple dive trip a year. Come join John on one of his amazing scuba adventures.

Jodi became a certified scuba diver in 2006 after completing a Discover Scuba Diving Experience in Cancun, Mexico. Since then she has continued her training completing specialty certifications, and earning her Master Scuba Diver Rating. Jodi went on to become a Divemaster, Instructor and her PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer. Becoming a professional allowed Jodi to Share her love of the ocean and all of its amazing life with fellow divers and non-dives. When not teaching others scuba , Jodi teaches elementary school in the Santa Clarita Valley. If you can’t find her there, at Scubatude, or in California waters, then she is probably off traveling to a new underwater adventure. Come join Jodi on one of here great adventures.

Robert started scuba diving in 2006 after a motorcycle accident ended his law enforcement career. Though his activities were limited on land due to his injuries, the weightlessness of diving allowed him freedom and enjoyment under the water. Robert fell in love with scuba diving and immediately took to the water, earning his Divemaster rating in 2008. In 2009, he became a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and has been teaching divers and sharing his passion for scuba diving every since. In addition to instructing, Robert is a avid recreational, technical, cave and wreck diver. He loves traveling to exotic scuba diving destinations and exploring new dive sites and shipwrecks. He is a volunteer with the Catalina Island Hyperbaric Chamber, and the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Reserve Dive Team. Robert is also a former Diving Safety Officer for Los Angeles Underwater Explores. Come join Robert on one of his group trips we guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Robert's professional diving background began as a PADI Divemaster for Sport Chalet. After working with many top-level instructors, Robert became a Scuba Instructor and started teaching classes at several locations in Ventura County California. Recognizing that newly certified students needed an environment that supported their diving passion, he created SCDiving.com as a communication and mentorship community that encouraged divers to keep diving. Robert has successfully organized and led dive groups, traveling to many of the great dive destinations in the world. Leading groups ranging in size from 2 to over 40.
